Where are the dresses made? 

Our dresses are cut individually and made-to-order in our Atelier in the heart of New York’s Garment district.

How much time do I need to place an order?

Kathlin Argiro quotes a standard 8 -12 week delivery for your dress once the order is processed.  If your event date requires an earlier delivery, we can usually accommodate rush orders for an additional charge.  Please email for rates:kat@kathlinargiro.com

What are your shipping policies?

All dresses will be shipped to the desired location via UPS ground. A charge of $20 per dress will be added to each order at time of checkout. Expedited and international shipping is available for an additional charge, please email for more details: kat@kathlinargiro.com.

What are your policies regarding lost packages or shipping issues?

Once we send an item, it is in the hands of UPS. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, we highly recommend it. Please email us once you make your purchase so we can set-up a special invoice that includes the additional cost. We do not reimburse or replace items that have been lost or damaged during shipping. Please be sure to list a secure shipping address to avoid problems with loss and theft.

What type of payment do you accept? 

Payments are to be made either by Visa or MasterCard when order is placed.

How do I choose the best size for me?

At Kathlin Argiro we pride ourselves on our fit, but we do not do a customized size according to measurements.  Our dresses are made in standard sizes only, ranging from 0-20 (larger sizes may be available). It is strongly recommended that customers have their measurements taken by a professional tailor. We suggest that you bring a copy of our measurement guide and size chart with you when you get measured so you can be sure that the tailor takes all the measurements we require (including strapless and ribcage for extra accuracy). Please note that the size chart reflects body measurements, not garment measurements, and may not reflect your usual size in ready to wear clothing. We are happy to assist you in making the final size selection, but ultimately the final size selection is up to each customer. Please remember that it is much easier to take in a garment than to let it out. 

What are you exchange/return policies?

Since each dress is custom made and cut to order, there are no exchanges or returns. Please let us know if we can assist you in the ordering process to ensure that you are making the best style and size choice. 

Please note that if a new dress is needed due to an incorrect size ordered, you will be charged full price for the dress, including rush fees if applicable. 

Do you do alterations?

Kathlin Argiro do not does not offer alterations services.  Please consult your local tailor or dressmaker if your dress needs fit or hem adjustments. Please note that dresses are made to order in a standard size, not custom made to specific measurements. We always recommend choosing the larger size if a measurement falls between sizes. It is much easier to take in a dress than to alter a dress that is too small.
